Berliner Schloss
3D-Scanning of the architectural decoration for the facades for the reconstruction of the Berliner Schloss
For the reconstruction of the Berliner Schloss the plaster
models of the architectural decoration were recorded with a
hand-operated, optical tracked laser scanner (T-Scan 2,
Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH), which enables a precise
documentation and an effective workflow. Numerous objects, such as
blazonries, capitals and over 30 eagle sculptures were recorded
quickly. After recording the virtual models were created.
At Natursteinwerk Herman Graser (Bamberg) the models are
transferred in stone using a CNC milling machine.
The project was realized by Format4plus GmbH.
